THE
DANIEL
PROJECT
The Daniel Project is a ministry initiative of FELLOWSHIP CORONA aimed at equipping and encouraging young people to know God, develop godly character, and pursue excellence in education/vocational training in order that they may more broadly serve and impact local and global communities as ambassadors of Christ. The initiative is named for the biblical prophet Daniel who served as an exemplary model of these qualities from his youth. Through the ministry's various components, we embrace opportunities to partner with parents in training up generations of Daniel-like leaders; young men and women of integrity who will champion the Gospel, and lead lives of love and compassion that glorify God in their homes, through their occupations, and beyond.
The Daniel Project is designed to operate with focused, consistent, corporate prayer and the generous financial contributions of all who are invested in its mission and understand its importance to the fortitude and future of the church and its graceful proclamation of Truth.

Project Components:
In response to the Gospel and the times in which we live, we recognized the importance of providing our young people with academic support combined with spiritual training anchored in biblical truth.
Youth Sunday School
Three-2-Seven
Homework assistance from 3-7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Dinner is provided from 6-6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays only for participating students. Sign-ups are required.
Wednesday Night Prime Time
One definition of the word prime is "to prepare or make ready for a particular purpose". Each Wednesday evening from 7-8:15 p.m. we seek to prime our youth to live out the Gospel with passionate resolve through worship, interactive biblical instruction, encouragement, mentoring, and prayer.
Operation College Care

Components:

• Career Path – connects high school juniors and seniors with Christian professionals within the church community who work within the career fields of the students' interests. These screened professionals provide encouragement, informational seminars, and some job shadowing opportunities.

• Graduate Commissioning Service – This special portion of our Sunday morning worship occurs each year on the 3rd Sunday in August. This is a dedicated time in which, after hearing briefly from our high school, college, and vocational graduates, the congregation recognizes and prays over them as they enter a new season of adulthood on mission for Christ. The service is followed by a dessert reception.
• Special Delivery - Provides support for our college and vocational students in the form of care packages and notes of encouragement mailed to them on their campuses from the FELLOWSHIP CORONA family.
• LIFEline - This is a dedicated prayer chain and counseling service for our college students and young adults. Prayer needs and counseling requests are submitted by email. Confidential counseling may take place in-person, over the phone, or by Zoom. Students may also email praise reports and expressions of gratitude to be shared with the body at FELLOWSHIP.

• College Care Fund - provides small scholarships to high school seniors who graduate with a cumulative 3.0 GPA and can provide proof of enrollment in a vocational program or institution of higher learning. Qualified students must have been regularly attending members of FELLOWSHIP CORONA for at least one full year, must submit a 500 word essay (topic TBA) and/or demonstrate knowledge of the New City Catechism. Applications are due and interviews take place in April each year.
